The first and most important strategy is to select a European Roulette wheel instead of an American Roulette. The number of pockets in an American Roulette is 38, whereas a European Roulette has 37 pockets. Besides, an additional pair of 0 has been included by the American Roulette. These additional pair of 0 has led to the increase of the house edge to a large extent which has made it unpopular in places like North America. However, the presence of a single zero in the European roulette increases the opportunity to win the game.
