Here are some of the reasons why I love audio books:
a) Audio books are available in many formats and thus can be heard in many ways, on many devices. After downloading, audio books are playable on computers, then can be burned to a disc, and can be loaded to an iPods or mp3 player.
b) Listening to audio books makes my downtime much more productive. An example is on the commute to work. Instead of listening to mindless radio, I prefer to listen to an audio book. I work closely with my customers and I enjoy audio books on business and relationships. Since I started listening to the audio books on my commute, my productivity and bottom line have really taken off.
c) I no longer have to chase people down to get books back after I loan them out. We have all had this happen, you loan a friend a book and never see it again. Now it is no real loss if you don’t get back a Cd that you made from your computer. Or it only takes a moment to load an audio book to a friend’s iPods or mp3 player.
Traditionally, audio books could be purchased through catalogs or rented from the library as books on tapes. With advances in technology, they became books on CD.

If you are thinking of buying a home entertainment product privately, whether a computer, computer components, or even hifi or home entertainment products, you should try and make sure you are equiped with as much information about the seller before you go and meet them. There are ways to find out about the seller, from simple searches using the internet search engines, to using background check websites or, if you have their cell number, using reverse phone lookup sites. These types of services can help you work out of the seller is who they claim, or if they have something to hide.

Voice acting is performance art that developed in the 20th century with the invention of the radio, and later T.V.. It’s a form of entertainment that is typically unnoticed by the general public, but still important to the advertising and entertainment industries.
Every one of the advertisements that we listen to on the radio and TV use voice talent in one way or another - whether it’s narration, character-acting, or reporting as an on-air personality. These voice artists are also what make cartoons, radio shows, and movies so interesting and fun.

Security shortcomings in the design of Apple’s iPhone might make it easier to mount phishing and cross-site scripting attacks. The iPhone’s email client only displays the first few characters of a weblink, a factor researchers at Fortify Software warn makes it easier to hide a fraudulent URL at the end of a link without arousing suspicion. Click here to find out more! The mechanism the iPhone uses to link between web browser and telephone functions also makes it easier to embed scam telephone numbers within sites, which a user may be prompted to dial. Fortify says the security shortcomings of the iPhone mean users are exposed to risk from relatively simple phishing techniques, either by accidentally clicking through to fraudulent websites or unwittingly making expensive premium line calls.

The music industry is due to get a tremendous boost from the popularity of the iPhone. Now that the iPhone has hit the streets, music industry insiders expect that device will push even more people into the online music enjoyment crowd. Music download services, in particular, should see a boost in popularity, as well as video download services. New technology is often the gateway to accessing whole new markets, and the iPhone will certainly tap into them.
